With over 40 years of experience, more than 375 employees, 7 waste management companies, over 100 affiliated partners, and an annual turnover of 130 million euros, Milieu Service Groep has grown to become the largest waste platform in the Netherlands.

The smartest route for waste
We use IT and smart logistics to achieve our mission. Our platform matches our customer's waste with the right collector and processor. After all, waste is full of valuable raw materials. By separating the waste at source and processing it at a high quality level within the Netherlands, new products can be made from it. This is how we work together towards a 100% circular Netherlands in 2050. Our unique way of working also means that the waste is collected from our customers by partners from our partner network. So we use the existing transport network for maximum efficiency, less traffic and significantly lower CO2 emissions.

Lins Recycling
Lins Recycling is the waste management partner for the real estate sector in Germany; it is based in Mannheim and was founded in 2002. As a certified Entsorgungsfachbetrieb, the company manages the waste chain through a network of partners and combines waste management with ESG and CO2 reporting. Since July 1, 2026, Lins Recycling has been part of Milieu Service Groep, marking the group’s first foreign acquisition.

Sustainable business
Milieu Service Groep feels responsible for people and the environment. Waste is a growing problem worldwide. In the Netherlands alone, more than 2 million tonnes of industrial waste are incinerated annually. A shame! Because this waste is full of valuable raw materials that can be used for the production of new materials.
With our companies, we have been working for years to reduce the amount of residual waste. We have the knowledge, technology and network to help organisations separate waste at source so it can be processed in a high-quality and transparent way. In this way, we are working towards zero waste and a circular economy. Another important pillar for us is to minimise CO2 emissions by making smart use of overcapacity in the existing transport network. Put simply, we make use of trucks from partners that are already on the road. In doing so, we significantly reduce CO2 emissions compared to using our own trucks.
MSG Trolley can sort raw materials measurably
With this, innovation is one of our main strengths. We are constantly looking at how we can innovate to serve our customers even better. One of our latest innovations is the MSG Trolley. With this, we won an award at the CBRE Supply Partner Innovation Challenge 2022. With the MSG-Trolley, raw materials can be measurably sorted by the cleaning staff. As a result, we are well on our way to digitizing the circular chain.
